Our Mission

At JD Woodworks, we believe that everyone deserves the dignity, comfort, and stability of a well-furnished home. Our mission is to provide essential home furnishings to individuals and families, transforming empty spaces into welcoming, livable homes. Through community partnerships, donations, and compassionate service, we aim to restore hope and empower lives—one room at a time.

Hi, I'm Joe—a woodworker from Arizona and a veteran. I started carving when I was five years old with a pocketknife and a scrap of wood, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Over the years, I’ve kept at it, while slowly developing my own style.

After my time in the military, I came back home and started pouring more energy into my craft. That’s when I discovered epoxy resin, and it totally changed the game. Mixing resin with wood lets me create pieces that are both rustic and bold.

These days, you’ll find me in my garage, covered in sawdust and experimenting with new ideas. I make everything from custom furniture to wall art, always aiming to bring out the character in each piece of wood.

Why Choose Us?

At our core, we believe that no two pieces should ever be the same—because no two stories are. Every item we create is truly one of a kind, crafted by hand with care, creativity, and an eye for the natural beauty in wood and resin. From the grain patterns to the color flow, each piece is a reflection of the materials themselves and the journey behind them. We don’t do mass production—we do meaningful creation. When you choose our work, you’re not just buying a product; you’re investing in something original, made with purpose and built to last.

Extras

Welcome to the "Extra" corner—where color runs wild and creativity doesn’t ask for permission.

Here, I showcase a collection of my acrylic paintings: bold, textured, and always honest. These pieces live outside the lines of my usual work—a space where experimentation thrives and inspiration leads the way.

From layered abstracts to expressive brushwork, each painting tells its own story. Some are spontaneous. Others are slow burns. All are one-of-a-kind.
